HA! a joke, it's disgusting, the foam comes out in a liquid form and it's SO tinted that it comes out in splotches all over you, it smells worse than any other tanner I've ever tried, I ended up washing it off. It's a complete rip off. I'm pissed I bought 2 bottles of this to expecting a lot more from California tan. Do not waste your money on this, find something.....anything else.

(More customer reviews)So I am trying Lavera products. I got this self-tanner, the texture is good, like a body lotion. It has a kinda sweet smell instead of the stinky self-tanner smell. It goes away quick too... The color, I only applied once and I could see a glow by the end of the day. I applied it a few times in a row, and even though it didn`t give me the darkest of colors, it gave me a really nice medium brown even tone. My skin is pretty fair by the way. So for me it is a good, natural, medium brown color. (I think the best to do if you want to go really-really deep, is that you apply this 1-2 times to get the EVEN medium brown color, and buy the Sun Laboratoires (I have that too) really dark tanner that works as you put it on. If you apply that on white skin and you miss a spot, you really can see it, this way it is all brown already!)...So this has good, natural ingredients! I like it a lot! :-)

(More customer reviews)everyone who views this product has one question in mind: should i buy the Body Shop's Hemp Body Butter, or is this basically just as good at half the price? that was my question, also. i wash my hands 10 or more times per day, and take up to 5 showers in a day. also, daily workouts and or tennis don't help the skin dryness. lotions were not working. even with expensive lotions like Oil of Olay and Neutrogena, my face was so dry, it was embarrassing. a nice girl at the Body Shop in Lisbon, Portugal recommended i try the Body Shop's Body Butter, and this product was a revelation! but after 2 years of $20.00 a tub, i began experimenting with other butters, hoping for a cheaper price. Delon, and others. well, this Hempz arrived yesterday, and i did an experiment. half the body in the Body Shope's Sweet Chestnut, and half in Hempz Herbal Skin Care Butter. after 10 hours, there was no difference. the smell of the Hempz product is just as nice. the packaging is better with the Hempz (if you remove the body shop logo and put both side-by-side, and were asked to pick the most expensive looking tub, you'd pick Hempz) . and Hemps gives you 8 ounces as opposed to the Body Shop's 6.9 or 6.7 ounces. so, the answer is: this is just as good as the Body Shop's product, at half the price. no kidding. i'm shocked! 5 stars. it should be in the bathroom of every cost-conscious OCD hand-washer!
