(More customer reviews)I am a total sucker for any sort of shimmer product. There, I've said it! So I really wanted to love Celebutante, despite the annoying name. Here are the good & bad points of this product:
1. It is moisturizing without being sticky; sprays on like an oil, then dries to a nice soft finish as you rub it in.
2. If you like that coconut-suntan lotion smell (think Banana Boat), then you'll love this. But if you don't LOVE coconut, then you might find the scent overwhelming.
3. It is definitely shimmery, in fact it probably crosses the line into sparkly. Good for teenagers, maybe not so good for the over-25 set?
4. As any fan of shimmer products knows, shimmer has to have either a gold or a silver base. Celebutante is definitely the latter, so if you prefer a silvery/diamond-type sparkle, then you'll like this.
Overall a decent product, which is why I gave it three stars. But it is not my favorite; I will stick to my Lancome Star Bronzer shimmer spray, which has gold undertones and works better with my skin type. If you are curious about Celebutante, go to Sephora and get a sample and walk around with the scent for a while, and see how you feel about the shimmer. You might love it, who knows? Worth a look, but I wouldn't buy without trying first.
